Misto is my favorite! Mistoffelees found himself perched on top of a car high up in the junkyard. From this spot, he could see all of the 'yard. He noticed Munkstrap leading another partrol. The Conjuring Cat thought little of the many patrols that Munkstrap led everyday. The grey and tabby claimed that Macavity was at large and had kidnapped many cats across London, but Misto hardly believed him. It had been almost a year since Macavity dared show his face in the Jellicles' junkyard; almost a year since the last Ball.
That, of course, meant that the Jellicle Ball was coming soon and the Tribe was getting antsy. Mentally, he slapped himself. Misto hated when he thought like that. Victoria had a right to choose the mate she wanted.
As long has she was happy, Misto was happy. Mistoffelees secretly hated Plato for "stealing" Victoria.
Yeah, the gentle, kind, Conjuring Cat was actually capable of feeling hate. What a thought. Anyway, he hated Plato and longed for Victoria, the sweet, snow white ballerina. Victoria was making her way across one of the many lanes in the junkyard, arm in arm with Jemima, her closest friend, despite the age difference. They were laughing and enjoying the summer evening. Mistoffelees held back tears. This was no time to cry, not with the Ball so near. He should be practicing his act.
He should be planning new tricks that he'd never used before. After all, the other cats would expect something amazing out of him. He was the Conjuring Cat. Ah, who was he kidding. He'd been mourning Victoria ever since the previous year. God, how could he be so pathetic. It was then that he decided to pay another visit to the Rum Tum Tugger.
So Misto lept from car, to tire, to other random pieces of junk and headed to the Rum Tum Tugger's corner of the junkyard. He found him curled up on an old couch in front of his den with Bomba nearly on top of him and his fan club mewling at his feet.
Misto's cheeks reddened at Tugger and Bomba's obvious love. How do you think Bomba and i became mates?Delphi: Canadian, queer, dramatical, railway enthusiast and cat enthusiast. Protect Me by WaitingformyMunkustrap reviews Electra has always dreamed of being a Jellicle protector.
There's just one problem: Queens don't become Jellicle protectors.
Meanwhile, after being rejected by the queen he loves, Plato is feeling overlooked and unappreciated. Both are in for a surprise at this year's Jellicle Ball. What she wants by Kycklingk reviews The Rum Tum Tugger can handle most things, but can he handle losing his fan club to someone else?
Can the next generation of Jellicle cats outrun their parents legacy? Die For You by WaitingformyRedCaboose reviews Electra learns just how far his components are willing to go, for his sake. They're gay. Pearl by CleverAsEver reviews Plato is a shy cat; always in the background, never making himself known.
That is, until one chance encounter on a midnight stroll changes everything. This one was inspired by a comment on youtube asking if anyone else thought that the rum tum tugger was gay.
The Rum Tum Tugger laughed softly. She's barely more than a kitten! Rum Tum Tugger growled, pouncing at him, and he rolled out of the way. That's not the point. You were just saying she's barely more than a kitten. Strange how that becomes ok when you're talking about getting her for you. I'm not that much older than she is.
You're years older. Mistoffelees rolled onto his back, stretching. He'd been being serious, as much as it was in his nature. He didn't like it when Mistoffelees started teasing him. Mistoffelees rolled his eyes and pounced on him, pinning him to the ground. He bit Mistoffelees on the shoulder, and Mistoffelees rolled off of him with wide eyes. Through their frequent spats, Tugger had never actually done anything to hurt him. He turned and jumped up in the chair by the fire, curling tightly into the corner of the dusty red wingback.
Rum Tum Tugger looked shocked at Mistoffelees' unusual retreat, but was too glad for the chance to escape to question it. Mistoffelees licked his paw disconsolately, knowing that Tugger probably didn't even realize that he was upset but feeling abandoned nonetheless.
I just saw Cats
He was still mad at him. I don't know. I haven't done anything. He already knew the other cat didn't know why he was mad. Honestly, he didn't know why he hadn't just forgiven him like he usually did, but something made him hang on to this. Anyway, it wasn't like their usual spats. Besides the few words exchanged, Tugger had actually hurt him, purposefully, even if it was likely an instinctive response to the need to be free.Cats is a musical fantasy film based on the stage musical of the same name by Andrew Lloyd Webberwhich in turn was based on the poetry collection Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T.
The film received generally unfavourable reviews from critics, who criticized the CGI effectsplot, and tone, with many calling it one of the worst films of Victoria, a young white cat, is dropped in the streets of London by her owner in the middle of the night.
The alley cats witnessing this introduce themselves to her as the " Jellicles ". Two toms, meek magician Mr. Mistoffelees who develops a crush on Victoria and the loyal Munkustrap, and two queens, the snooty Cassandra and Demeter, take Victoria under their wing and show her the world of the Jellicles as they hype up the Jellicle Ball, an annual ceremony where cats compete for the chance to go to the Heaviside Layer and be granted a new life.
Throughout the film, the competitors are introduced and express their contributions to the community: Jennyanydots, a domestic tabby, boosts the productivity of mice and roaches; the Rum Tum Tugger, a flirtatious tom who riles up the others; Bustopher Jones, a bourgeois cat who boasts about his weight and shares food scraps from the garbage; Skimbleshanks, a tidy ginger cat who taps along the railway; Gus, an aged theatre cat who has played some of the biggest roles in history; and Macavity, a villainous stray with the power to apparate and who kidnaps the other contestants save for Tugger in order to be made the Jellicle Choice by default.
Victoria also happens to meet the mischievous twins Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer who enjoy causing trouble and messing with things in the house of their human family. They convince Victoria to join in the fun, but leave her tangled up in some necklaces when the family dog is alerted to their presence. Luckily, Mr. Mistoffelees comes to rescue Victoria, distracting the dog and escaping with her.
They return to the group, just in time to see the arrival of the tribe's wise and beloved matriarch Old Deuteronomy. The Jellicle Ball commences inside the abandoned Egyptian Theatre. Victoria dances a ballet solo in the moonlight but is distracted by Cassandra harassing Grizabella, a former member of the tribe who was banished for, among other things, her past allegiance with Macavity.
Victoria relates to Grizabella's feelings of abandonment. As Grizabella slinks away into the streets, Old Deuteronomy witnesses their quiet camaraderie and assures Victoria that she can become a Jellicle herself in time.
The Ball is interrupted by femme fatale Bombalurina, who performs a song and dance number dedicated to Macavity: a distraction to incapacitate the party with catnip. Macavity arrives, demanding to be made the Jellicle Choice. Old Deuteronomy deems him unworthy and is subsequently kidnapped and placed with Macavity's other victims.
As the Jellicles recuperate, distraught over their leader's disappearance, Victoria suggests that Mr. Mistoffelees use his powers to conjure Old Deuteronomy back. He tries a few times, eventually making Old Deuteronomy reappear. The cats rejoice and praise Mr. Mistoffelees; he and Victoria dance together.Rereading old possums book of practical cats as illustrated by Edward Gorey and was reminded that Misto has always had the most impeccable design! Misto, applying makeup: I just want you to know that in these parts of London they call me the contour queen.
I know you can tell why. Originally posted by its-that-horrible-cat. So here. And honestly, the only thing I was disappointed in was how they made mr mistoffolees such weenie. Basically, Mistoffelees is an Eldritch Abomination. He can alter his physical form in several ways extra eyes, extra tails, new fur patterns, etc.
Other Jellicles have occasionally gotten glances at his true form he tends to blink in and out of it when he sneezes, for examplebut no one has been able to completely process it. Of all the Jellicles, Coricopat and Tantomile are the closest to understanding his true eldritch form.
Quaxo, a Cirque du Soleil performer under the pseudonym Mr. Mistoffelees, meets the rising rock star Tugger at a Cirque performance.
The rocker is there with his family and is very awe-struck by the performer, especially during his solo performance. He may or may not have tried to bribe someone into getting a backstage pass so he could meet Misto after the show. Okay, he definitely did. Even though Plato and Victoria end up together in the show, they may change it for the movie.
I always saw them more as siblings or very good friends rather than romantic partners. From the rest of the message, I assume you are referring to Misto. I think that Misto has always been one of the closer cats to the original source the others being Tugger and Old Deuteronomy. Also, top hat. Everyone does it with books, plays, etc. In the show, he does start out unsure of himself body language and expressions, reallybut Tug hypes him up and his dance solo is really when he starts to shine and believe in himself.
While the show does it in a singular song, the movie might be able to do it over time. If it happened, I wonder if Jerrie and Teazer would know something had happened, or not.
Maybe Old Deuteronomy would be the only one who actually noticed something odd had happened? I love the idea of Misto residually impacting the world around him!Woowoo my first Cats fanfiction. Mistoffelees, and I like them even more so when paired together. So yes, this is a slash. Don't like, don't read. Easy as pie. Disclaimer: I do not own the musical Cats or any of the characters, if I did, there would be a sequel.
The Rum Tum Tugger was making the final preparations before he made his entrance into the Jellicle Ball. Using a mirror propped up on some of the nearby trash he fluffed his mane and made sure he looked his absolute best. With a final wink at himself in the mirror he deemed it worthy to continue walking. Not going to fix your whiskers as well? The Tugger twitched his whiskers in annoyance, but also because now that it was mentioned he had the urge to fix his whiskers as suggested.
He raised a paw to his face and patted said whiskers once before he sighed in relief to find them in normal order.
Now that first priorities were out of the way, the Maine Coon spun on his heals gracefully to see his spectator. The magical tom had his way of sneaking up on others unannounced and had used that to his advantage on more than one occasion. Needless to say, Tugger found the others amusement at his tricks a little annoying at times; he and the tux already didn't get along very well.
The coon believed that Misto liked to get underneath his skin on purpose, trying to get a rise out of him. This only caused a dark scowl to cross the tall tom's face, and the tux's grin grew wider, or so it seemed to Tugger.
He needed to calm down, but ooh that cat just knew what to do to push his buttons. Tugger's fur on his back had begun to raise and the coon took a breath to calm himself. His fur slowly but surely went back down to normal height, but he was still gritting his teeth at the tux and refusing to look back at him.
The seconds didn't seem to tick by fast enough but sure enough the Rum Tum Tugger's intro began to play and plastering the most playful and sensual look he could muster, he burst out into view.
He swayed his hips to the music and flawlessly floated along to his dancing steps. Tugger was in the music now and the music was in him. All the cats could clearly tell by looking at him he was completely in his element. The kittens sighed and giggled at all the right times for the sexual tom, causing him to grin to himself.
His earlier mood had completely vanished, or it was until he opened his eyes to see the tux sneering at him. His fur bristled once more and the coon promptly kicked a ball in the tom's direction. He had missed but by the look on the tux's face he had gotten the desired effect anyway. A few dance steps later and the tux was in the center, right where the Rum Tum Tugger was supposed to be standing.
Tugger flashed a questioning look at Munkustrap but the tabby only shrugged. He tried to work around the tom but the black and white cat was obviously going to get his way when he began singing before the Maine Coon was able. This story is just something that has been playing in my head forever.
The maine coone turned to the small black Tom. It's owner moved into the dim light of the junkyard. MacCavity had knocked all the electricity out leaving it dark and scary. Rum Tum Tugger grabbed both of the Tom's arms. You will do fine. Tugger I am scared. My magic only works some of the time.
I can't control when it happens and when it doesn't. I just don't want to make a fool of myself. Tugger sighed then smiled clasping a paw on his friend's shoulder. Mistoffelees looked into his best friend's eyes and saw that the flirt was serious.
For once in Tugger's life Tugger was serious. It was a comforting sight no doubt. Misto nodded with renewed confidence.
Munkustrap looked around the dark junk yard. All of the kittens were curled beside the adults shivering with fear. He to wished he could be over there curled against an adult and forget all this. Munk was scared. To make matters worse and perhaps cause the on coming headache that suddenly appeared, Tugger appeared in the small light that Pouncivial had found. Please, listen to me and don't scoff.
All his inventions are off his own bat! The Tabby watched as his brother jumped down and Pounce turned the light to Tugger.
A tune that he'd heard his human hum at home lingered in his head. Mistoffelees conjuring turn!! And we all say "Oh well, I never, was there ever a cat so clever as Magical Mr. He can creep through the tiniest crack. He can walk on the narrowest rail. He can pick any card from the pack. He is equally cunning with dice. He is always deceiving you into believing that he is only hunt for mice. He can play any trick with a cork or a spoon and a bit of fish paste.
If you look for a knife or a fork and you think it is merely misplaced. You have seen it one moment and then it is gawn. But you'll find it next week lying out on the lawn. Now would be a good time.
